We are experiencing very exciting growth with our B2B strategics and seeking ambitious, driven individuals with previous B2B sales experience and be part of our ever growing team. This is a pure business development and accounts management role with very strong qualified leads to pursue, so we are looking for someone who thrives on picking up the phone, developing a relationship, networking and closing out new opportunities.
You will have the chance to present and demonstrate our software, and its capabilities. You’ll play a key role liaising externally with our partners to close new businesses. You will also work closely with our teams to ensure continued growth and a positive ongoing customer experience once your clients are onboarded.
Responsiblities:
Business Development:
Market Insight & Strategy Development:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand SCSS Consulting’s market presence in Australia.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Identify, approach, and convert prospective clients into long-term partners.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders across industries.
Revenue Generation & Target Achievement:
- Drive the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
- Consistently achieve and exceed individual and team revenue targets.
Collaboration & Reporting:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and delivery units, to ensure client satisfaction and seamless service delivery.
- Regularly provide detailed sales forecasts, performance reports, and market insights to leadership.
Accounts Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring timely resolution of inquiries and issues.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships to foster trust and loyalty.
- Monitor client performance metrics, deliver insights, and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
- Oversee contract renewals, negotiations, and ongoing account health.
- Prepare detailed reports on sales activities, account performance, and market trends for senior leadership.
- Coordinate with operational teams to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
- Participate in regular team meetings to align strategies and share progress updates.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of combined experience in business development and account management, preferably within the consulting sector.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing client accounts effectively.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.

- Proficiency in CRM platforms and sales analytics tools.
- A results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Experience in building and managing a sales pipeline.
